Line dimension and scale

Goal: To use a scale to dimension lines.

Layout

1. Take 8-1/2"x11" blank, white paper, oriented horizontally (landscape).
2. Develop 'construction' lines (light guide lines) for layout of lines, as described below.
3. Layout
   1. Start measured lines 2" from the left side of the sheet. End measured lines 1" from the right side.
   2. Start the topmost line 1" down from top of sheet.
   3. Space lines 1/2" apart.
   4. Use 2" space on left to identify (using cap lettering) the measurements and scale for each line, noted below.
4. Locate, letter (use guide lines for lettering) the following at top: Your Name, Line Dimension and Scale, HP175 Documentation, Date.

• 20'-9" @ 3/8"
• 12'-3" @ 1/2"
• 80'-6" @ 3/32"
• 6'-6-1/2' @ 1"
• 14'-8" @ 1/2"
• 16'-9" @ 1/4"
• 36'-3" @ 3/16"
• 11'-7" @ 1/2"
• 9'-9" @ 3/4"
• 77'-3" @ 3/32"
• 3'-7-1/2" @ 1-1/2"
• 7'-7-3/4" @ 3/4"
• 19'-11" @ 3/8"
